Plaid became popular in the 1970s. I was not born yet but I love how it is evolved and transformed. I believe the design is timeless for modern age. Plaid can look really chic and sophisticated in fall 2020 for as long as you don’t overdo the look. Wear plain or neutral colors when wearing a plaid skirt, pants or a plaid blazer.
Ruffles are one of my favorite designs because it is classy, feminine and really fun to wear. It can also be edgy depending on how you wear it. Here are some ideas on what to wear and how to wear it. The key is not to wear too many ruffles so it does not look to childish or too girly. Choose a minimal ruffle top – same goes with a dress.
If you read my post on how to hide belly fat, wearing puff-sleeves gives you the illusion of smaller waist. I absolutely love this trend because it is not only flattering and feminine but I think it also screams confidence. Here are some puff sleeves tops that are not too voluminous and over powering.
4. Voluminous Sleeve Dress
The voluminous sleeve dress might be a little tricky to style but if done right can be chic, trendy and stylish. Pair it with tights, skinny jeans and booties or over the knee boots to balance the look.
5. Pleated Skirt/Dress
Pleated skirts or dresses feel fresh and timeless at the same time. The style is elegant and classy as well. I also adore this trend as it can hide the flaws of my figure. They can be worn casual, dressy and work attire.
